This weekend, I am planning to fill up a basket with little beautiful things. Not a literal basket. I am just going to try to notice all the beautiful things in life that surround me. In my normal round of daily life, I screech past at top speed and I just don’t see.
For example, when I woke up today it was still dark outside. As I let the dog out, I took a few minutes to sit outside and stargaze. That sight is a little beauty that will go in my basket.
Sipping coffee this morning in the spare room, in my compfy morning reading chair, I noticed the dog building a little nest on the daybed. She settled in and really slept soundly, completely surrounded with little throw blankets. It was a little beauty to go in my basket.
So, I will be busy this weekend, looking around, noticing the world around me. I’ll check back in on Monday with a full basket to share.
