Basket of Little Beauties: the conclusion

Some beautiful things I noticed this weekend:

Changing bedding from flannel to cotton

Dragging out summer clothes.  In March! (and they fit!)

A new bird’s nest under the porch rafters

The earth oozing with life: bugs, birds, bunnies, buds

Warm days, cool nights, low humidity, sunshine:  my favorite weather!

All my houseplants are sporting new leaves and really leaning toward the light from nearby windows

Buying potting soil and pansies.  In March!

Some people this weekend were worrying about whether the weather would hold.  Will we get snow again?  Will this last?  Is it really spring?  Summer?

I don’t really care, I tried to fully inhabit the beauty that surrounded me each and every moment.

I hope you did too!

Blessings, Vicki

This is a great blog, Vicki! I, too, was thinking along your lines with the pansies. And I, too, heard the comments and fears and decided to throw them away–sort of like pulling weeds.

Thanks for the encouragement Michelle! My pansies are tucked into their little planters and are happily greeting me every day! I like your analogy about fears and weeds. That’s cool.

Every beautiful warm day was a gift.

I loved being able to sit on my patio and see things in bloom.

I didn’t get brought down by others comments.

This is a good post Vicki.

    Appreciate the blessings of nature.
